NdFeB Magnet Surface Treatment Specifications

Surface Treatment Specifications

Since the Neodymium and Iron elements in NdFeB permanent magnets are highly susceptible to corrosion and oxidation, electroplating is necessary to protect the magnet surface. Commonly used coatings include Zinc (Zn), Nickel+Copper+Nickel (NiCuNi), Gold, Silver, Chrome, and Black Epoxy.
